In memory of Ernő Kiss, the Lieutenant General of the National Guard, the lord of Ittabé of Torontál county, a marthyr of Arad and the husband of Anna Krisztina Szentgyörgyi, the Town of Balatonfüred endowed a Memorial Award in 2003. Every year, in line with the selection of the Belle of the Ball, a public figure, who performed outstandingly in the development and popularization of the town, receives the porcelain statue of Ernő Kiss offered by the Herend Porcelain Manufactory.
